The Press Screening for Tom Hanks’ new film, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, was held on Wednesday, November 13that the AMC Empire Theater in New York City. The red carpet premier followed on November 17th, airing to the world this beautiful adaptation of the iconic Mr. Rogers character we have come to know and love.

Cast and filmmakers in attendance included: Marielle Heller (Director), Tom Hanks, Matthew Rhys, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Cooper, Enrico Colantoni, Christine Lahti, Wendy Makkena, Carmen Cusack, Jessica Hecht, Maddie Corman, Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harspter (Writers), Tom Junod (film inspired by his article “Can You Say. . . Hero?”), Peter Saraf (Producer), Marc Turtletaub (Producer), Leah Holzer (Producer), Youree Henley (Producer) and Joanne Rogers
There were also a host of luminaries present, including Alexander Skarsgard, Geneva Carr, Jennifer Esposito, Sara Silverman and Paul Beatty.
