CIJ Group, a PR solutions company, connects brands and retailers with top tier media, through their cost and time effective solutions. This includes their virtual Power Pitching events and PressFix, their digital image library, which you can access 365 days of the year.
CIJ Group’s Power Pitching series consists of 18 virtual events throughout the year, hosted on Zoom, which cater for all retail categories and gifting occasions like Mother’s Day, Black Friday, Homewares and many more. There are two key events each year, specifically for the US media, to help us meet brands to fulfil our holiday gift guides and shopping pages.
The sessions are extremely useful and a great way to meet brands up close and personal, and have aptly been coined “speed dating meets Shark Tank” due to their short, sharp and fun format. Lasting just over an hour in duration, the 25+ journalists who attend meet exciting brands and see and hear about 2-3 products from each of the brand representatives. Following the event, journalists can access PressFix to easily download the high res imagery, price points and further information on the brands they have met via the CIJ Group website. Brands always follow up accordingly to nurture the great relationships forged.
BELLA Magazines Business Development Director, Lynette Barbieri, attended the annual Holiday Gift Guide Long Lead Power Pitching Event, for the second year in a row, which was held on July 13th.

While at the event, I loved Wonderbly Books because of the way in which the stories were personalized around a specific child. Because of my admiration for Wonderbly Books, I am ordering some for my two girls for Christmas. I also can’t wait to try my masks from Popmask! The variety to choose from was extremly unique, the packaging was awesome, and the pitch was done very well. I know my daughters and ladies at work are going to love them! The new games from Chronical Books will make great gifts this year, too. I played an adult game with friends last year in The Hamptons and my granddaughter enjoyed the Recylcle game.
Last year I had gotten a lamb’s wool blanket from the Tartan Blanked company that they personalized for our EIC, who loved it. They have some beautiful new colors this year and I highly recommend that everyone checks them out for gifts this year; you can have them personalized and they are so warm!
