An Unforgettable Moment for Country Music Star Cole Swindell

It was a once in a lifetime moment for country music star Cole Swindell this past Tuesday, May 10th, when he became the first-ever artist across all genres to perform from atop of the newly constructed 4 World Trade Center terrace overlooking the Freedom Tower here in NYC.

Swindell performed his latest number #1 hit single “You Should Be Here”, a song he penned as a tribute to his late father who passed away unexpectedly in the summer of 2013. The song, which speaks to those who’ve lost a loved one, was a fitting choice to perform at such a venue. Performing for the families of the 9/11 victims, along with members of the military, first responders, and construction workers, Swindell was completely humbled by the experience.

“This is absolutely the most special thing I’ve ever got a chance to do, says the country artist. “I want everybody to know how much I respect this place and respect the families.”

You Should Be Here

“You Should Be Here” is the 1st single off of Swindell’s newly released album also titled, You Should Be Here. It has already topped Billboard’s Country Chart along with the Hot Country Songs Chart.
