Mara Hoffman’s Fall 2016 presentation told a story of fierce, female power. It was Marrakesh meets Manhattan circa 1970s. Persian rugs and plenty of prints. Crushed velvet pant suits and zebra prints. Our highlight seeing two, young red-head girls perched on a burned orange couch next to 90-something model and artist, Ilona Royce Smithkin. It was art. It was fashion. It rocked our world.
