Velásquez collaborated with Oscar-winning actress Helen Hunt, LA Philharmonic CEO Chad Smith, composer Gustavo Dudamel, and more, celebrating legendary Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez’s life and talent with the release of the soundtrack for FREE COLOR (a docufilm which follows Cruz-Diez as he seeks to fulfill his lifelong dream of creating art that frees color from form). The soundtrack, released on May 17, will donate all net proceeds to Patricia Velásquez’s Wayuu Taya Foundation.
