Introducing Jones Beach, a new scent from New York City’s most iconic fragrance house.
Sand, surf, sunshine. Bare skin and bare feet. Carefree weekends. Concerts by the water. Real people, real moments. Real New York. This is the inspiration behind Jones Beach Bond No. 9.
With Jones Beach, Bond No. 9 creates a retro-chic scent snapshot of the vibrant outdoor playground where New Yorkers have always gone to escape the city for the seashore.
Translated to scent, Jones Beach is a portrait of authentic New York and its heritage. It’s full of character, nostalgia, and, as with all of Bond’s signature scents, the spirit of the city.

“The feeling is very vintage,” Bond No. 9 founder and president Laurice Rahmé says of her latest fragrance. “It’s quintessentially New York,” she continues. “In the seventies, most New Yorkers would go to Jones Beach. It’s about the sand, the boardwalk, the music. It was, and is, the people’s beach—it’s what New York is all about.”
No. 9 is delighted to be collaborating once again with acclaimed French perfumer Aurélien Guichard, who also composed the house’s Chinatown, Andy Warhol Silver Factory, and Hudson Yards fragrances.
To capture the character of this quintessentially New York destination, Guichard built a breezy, sea- and sun-drenched eau de parfum with top notes of marine-inflected calone, middle notes of bright orange flower absolute, and a base of sexy white musk and amber from violet wood.
The result is a watery fresh orange flower, ideal for both women and men. “It’s sunny, carefree, refreshing, and very simple in terms of the notes,” says Rahmé. “It’s easy—perfect for summer.” To conjure the feeling of sunshine in a bottle, Bond’s iconic Silhouette Bottle is bathed in translucent gold with an amber cap.
Bond No. 9 Jones Beach eau de parfum arrives on counter June 2019 and will be sold at Bond No. 9 New York Boutiques, Saks Fifth Avenue nationwide, select Bloomingdales stores, Harrods UK, Selfridges UK, and at www.bondno9.com.
