Celebrating WOC Artist + Designer, Leia T. Ward, of LTW Design

During Black History Month, we’d like to celebrate the arts and Black artists in particular. One such artist and designer is Leia T. Ward, luxury home stager and founder of LTW Design. The WOC entrepreneur (Leia is half Black, half Chinese) is also a mother of three kids and four dogs and self-funded her incredibly successful, award-winning business just four years ago.

Leia T. Ward, founder, and principal stager at LTW Design, an award-winning staging design firm specializing in luxury homes based out of Ridgefield, CT!

Leia was named one of the “Top 10 Luxury Stagers” in the country, is known for attention to detail, and is inspired by world travels. Her aesthetic is all about casual sophistication- bold neutrals, clean lines, natural light, and layering. Her clientele includes celebrities like Bruce Willis and wife Emma Hemming, and her projects are typically multi-million-dollar properties.

NoHo Project

The LTW Design team was called in to work their magic to create a modern, coastal aesthetic mixed with a chic city vibe for this brand-new luxury condominium at Bleecker Street in NoHo.

It’s an interesting story because the clients live full time on the water and have a beach house in the Hamptons, so an apartment downtown in NYC was nothing like they are used to. It was Leia’s job to bring a coastal feel to it while keeping it chic with a downtown feel. Possibly, “downtown coastal?”

They wanted it to be a calm oasis and it is! Almost everything is custom by LTW Design such as the cabinets, the vanity, etc.
