Choices for living beautifully, Inside and Out

Our Fashion Issue is one of our most coveted ones of the year. I am personally all about fabulous, accessible, and sensible fashion that you can easily incorporate into your style routine.

My go-to has always been statement pieces, so I live for an amazing accessory to complement the rest of my outfit. I will literally build my look around my shoes, handbag, or jewelry.

Here are some of my favorites for fall. The best part? They are all women owned!

1 BEAUTIISOLES

There’s no need to suffer in shoes that hurt in the name of fashion. Beautiisoles is a new collection of women’s footwear that wants to make our love-hate relationship with shoes right! SIGN. ME. UP. The affordable luxury shoes are created by Robyn Shreiber, a Pro-Am ballroom dancer and executive at the billion-dollar diversified food company, J&J Snack Foods, and fashion disrupter Daniella Clarke, founder of the iconic women’s denim brand Frankie B. The inspiration to create the line stemmed from a persistent worsening condition that was caused by wearing shoes that were uncomfortable for decades. I am currently rocking the Gwen Boot, but know that from boots, pumps, sandals, and mules, Beautiisoles have looks for any occasion!

2 MAEMARIE WRAPS

This new lifestyle and jewelry brand founded by a mother-daughter duo is 100% focused around personal intention. I was super impressed by how powerful the feeling is from the way you wear each wrap to the message each one carries. This versatile accessory is available in 19 colors and can be worn on the wrist, finger, ankle, and neck. MaeMarie Wraps are simple, timeless, powerful, and super fab!

3 ELIZÉE

Step into Erika Carrero’s world—where fashion meets comfort. Erika is a woman on a mission to reshape luxury footwear by blending heritage Italian craftsmanship with cutting edge comfort technology. This luxurious Ametista sandal is handcrafted in ultra-soft Italian python print with a subtle metallic sheen. The perfect choice for any day-to-night occasion, it features a strappy silhouette and flattering fit with an adjustable ankle tie closure.

Not only is Erika a shoe designer, she also sits on the board for Friends of Generacion, a non-profit that supports Casa Generacion in Lima, Peru. Erika raises funds, awareness, and look for opportunities to enrich the children’s education. Erika was able to visit one of the houses on her last trip to Lima in May this year. Even though the pandemic hit Peru very hard, the kids were happy and grateful to be safe in the house.

5 B.HUMAN

Being human is messy, but even through the mess, you can always find love. Love is always the answer. Last summer I drew a heart and our Creative Director Jessica Licciardello sketched the words. The goal is simple: Shine more light on what it means to B. Human. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from our blue and yellow heart B.Human Essential T shirts will benefit adosid.org in the Dominican Republic in honor of my niece.
