A culinary staple in Manhattan’s dining scene for the past 12 years, Philippe is the brainchild of Executive Chef Philippe Chow. After being at the helm of the famed Mr. Chow restaurant for 25 years, the talented chef opened his own flagship restaurant on the Upper East Side. Acclaimed Executive Chef John Villa, who has worked at some of NYC’s hottest eateries, is serving up a unique menu of Beijing style cuisine (served family style) that goes hand in hand with the chic and contemporary atmosphere. We started off with an assortment of appetizers; Chef Chow’s signature chicken satay skewers prepared with his famous peanut sauce did not disappoint! After dining on sliced filet mignon and Chilean sea bass, we rounded out our meal with not one but two exceptional desserts. Not an easy feat when there are multiple eye-catching sweets to choose from!
