Current (Fitness) Obsession: Valleau Apparel 

Finding the motivation to work out can be rough so any time I can throw something new into my routine (or something stylish!)…it really does add a spring in my step. I’m totally obsessed with a hot new fitness apparel line, Valleau Apparel. The vibrant line is not focused on one particular activity, and that diversity is what sets them apart.  It’s great for a yoga enthusiast, marathon runner, or anything in between.

The San Diego-based company was founded in February 2013 by Katie Valleau. As a former NCAA gymnast she decided there was a market for quality active wear that was as unique as the person wearing it. The line is not focused on one particular activity, its diversity is what makes it different. Each piece has a different story behind it and really allows the person wearing it to show off their own style. Wear it by itself, to a Zumba class or under a backless shirt for a nice evening out!

My favorite is this Mermaid Sports Bra in Cobalt Blue ($44) that I have worn to spin, to Pilates, and even just a stroll in the park. The low to medium impact sports bra has a flattering scoop neckline and a super-cute intricate hand knotted back detail. It’s kind of fun to show off all your hard work!
