Unlike new entrants into the bed-in-a-box industry, Sealy believes that one experience and one feel do NOT fit all. So they went about creating a new kind of bed and ordering experience. Cocoon by Sealy includes all classic mattress sizes, ranging in price from $549 for a Twin to $999 for a California King, and two distinct feels that provide a true upgrade in comfort: Softer (a cozy, more enveloping feel; the right choice if you like sleeping in your bed) and Firmer (a sturdy, more substantial feel; the right choice if you like sleeping on your bed).  I opted for the Softer mattress and it is beyond dreamy!

It’s hard to imagine a giant mattress just arriving at your door in a nice, neat box but that’s exactly what happens. The process is just so easy-breezy and I have to say, I would highly recommend to anyone who needs to purchase a new bed and really get a great night’s sleep. Here’s how it works:

1. UNBOX: Move your box into the room in which you plan on setting it up and slide the compressed mattress out.
2. SET IT DOWN: Position your rolled up mattress on a flat and sturdy foundation, whether that’s a bed frame, wooden slats, or a box spring.
3. SET IT FREE: Look for stickers to guide you through unwrapping your mattress. Remove the packing tape and pull the wrapper apart at the seam. No sharp objects required.
4. WATCH & MARVEL: This is the fun part. Watch it expand. Your Cocoon by Sealy will reach near-full shape after just one minute. It will be fully expanded and ready for sleep in about 30 minutes.
