Current Obsession: Root Out Float

It’s been freakishly mild here in New York for the month of January so my favorite way to celebrate the toasty temps is with a boozy shake. Why not, right? Well, this isn’t exactly a shake, it’s a float made with Root Out Whisky and it’s pretty darn fabulous. Here’s how to whip it up at home…

Root Out Float

2 oz Root Out Root Beer Flavored Whisky
1/2 oz Vanilla Vodka
1 oz RumChata
Whipped Cream

Preparation: Pour the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Pour into a glass over ice and top with whipped cream.
