Current Obsession: Zeel Massage On Demand

Blindfold stretch

There’ the Cotton Gin, the Printing Press, Caller ID and now, well…  Zeel Massage On Demand.  In terms of great inventions to make life on this planet more livable, that’s my short list!  Ok, on a serious note,  last week I tried out Zeel, an amazing service that delivers (literally) vetted, licensed massage therapists to homes, hotels and offices throughout New York City (including Long Island and Westchester), booked in seconds by app (iPhone or Android), and delivered same-day, in as little as an hour.  The service  also launched this summer in San Francisco, Los Angeles and South Florida. They will  be launching in parts of NJ and CT in October/November, too (Hudson, Bergen, Fairfield)

No time to book a spa appointment? Well, this is a fantastic way to bring the spa home to you.  A relaxing massage, booked and enjoyed in as little as hour. You choose a female or male therapist and your preferred massage technique. All Zeel Massage Therapists are vetted by the Zeel team and licensed in their state of practice.

What I really love about this is, if you’re in a pinch and need some instant relief; there is no need to set your schedule weeks in advance. Book for same day or next day appointments – and if you want a massage right away, in as little as an hour. Zeel fits in your schedule, no matter how busy you are. Available in as little as an hour, with start times as early as 8:00 AM and as late as 10:30 PM, 7 days a week, including holidays .

Here’s how it works:

  • Select a male or female therapist
  • Choose a relaxing Swedish, invigorating deep tissue, prenatal, or couples massage
  • Zeel Massage Therapists bring the table and relaxing music – just as you’d expect from a top-quality massage . You only need to provide linens, a towel, a pillow, and a little space for the massage table.

After trying it out for myself, I have to say I am extremely impressed. The process (from start to finish) was at no point confusing or awkward.  No cash is exchanged—the service and the tip ( automatic 18 %) is set when you book your massage  so it really is a simple as it gets.

For my Long Island pals: While you cannot choose your  therapist,  I highly recommend requesting my therapist  Stephanie Carrion. She is  incredibly  skilled and intuitive and I would absolutely choose her again.

Everyone else: I know it’s early to be thinking of holiday gifts but this is a fantastic gift idea. Here is their gift page.  A top-notch massage at your home or office sure beats sending a fruit cake!

Great news! The folks at Zeel would like to give BELLA readers $25 off their first massage! The code is “BELLANYC”. All you have to do is add it into the promo code area when signing up.
