Face It With A Vanity Magnifying Mirror

Magnifying Mirrors

Vanity magnifying mirrors are used to enlarge the appearance of the face; providing a close-up and personal view of what’s cooking on the surface of your skin. Some people would rather stay clear of these pesky reflectors, because they provide way too much information. I know this is difficult, but I don’t suggest you use it to focus on the things that you’re paranoid about like, the fine lines and naturally occurring creases, etc.

Seeking perfection is not the purpose of this gadget. So, if you know you can’t handle the look of facial reality, avoid getting one. The device should be used to help foster cleansing of the facial skin. And if nothing, let it be a reminder to indulge in self-care.

Now what you will see reflected back at you is a far cry from what you see when you look into your regular mirror; stay calm and know that it’s a glimpse of what’s really going on.  I remember the first time I looked into one, I recoiled as if bitten by a poisonous snake. The oil, the open pores, the discoloration and the uneven skin tone all took me by surprise. But, I put it all into perspective and took it as a call to take action. I revisited my cleansing regimen and eventually bumped up my masking and peeling to twice per week and also incorporated a vitamin c serum twice per week. And when I did go back to the mirror, there was a huge improvement.

Mirrors come in different shapes and sizes. The bigger the number, the larger it’s magnification. For example, 7x magnifies greater than 5x. So, your image will appear larger in the 7x than in the 5x. Of course, the larger the magnification, the higher the price you pay. There is no need to buy some $500 fancy, shmancy mirror.  One that will magnify up to 7x is more than adequate for personal use.

Face it, you’re always beautiful. And you better believe it.
