The Dara Senders label is officially being launched as a brand during Paris Fashion Week 2018.
This will be the first time a designer is launching a collection during Paris Fashion Week with size inclusivity at the forefront. The all-women’s luxury, contemporary clothing brand is being premiered on September 26th.
With the creation of her label with sizes that range from small and petite to 3XL, Dara Senders has set forth to achieve that all women, no matter their shape and size, feel and look fashion forward, beautiful and sophisticated every day. She says: “It is not a plus size collection, but a collection to fit all women!”
As a collection that has been two years in the making, each design is constructed with quality and refined fabrics and embellishments, such as luxurious crepes, satins and sequins which have all been hand-chosen from across the globe in locations such as France, Italy, Morocco and Japan.
Dara, who is originally from New Jersey, is determined to rid the fashion industry of sizing segmentations and the plus size vs. the straight size, believing that all contemporary brands should offer their collections in a more inclusive size range matching a broader audience. She said: “Why should women have to compromise looking their best because their physical proportions may be different from most fashion label’s fit standards.”
We can’t wait to see the finished collection premiere next week! What are your thoughts on fashion designers creating brands that fit all of us women?!
