Here we are again… summer in New York City and The Hamptons!
It’s my favorite time of year, and my favorite issue of the year! The vibrant colors, fun feature stories and our top recommendations for where to vacation, visit, wine and dine are all inside this gorgeous issue.
I also have to say that the cover alone speaks for itself and is the greatest introduction to what you will find inside. I loved shooting this cover when we were in LA in April, on top of the roof of the Sofitel Beverly Hills Hotel overlooking the Hollywood Hills. It was truly amazing – one I will never forget. I have said for a long time I would love to do a shoot with the hills in the background, and we did, and we were thrilled Laura Prepon of “Orange Is the New Black” agreed to do it with us. It was one of those moments when you think, “Did I actually make this happen?” and then realized yes! Life is so delightful in those moments.
For me, summer is filled with so many of those moments. I will be in Laguna Beach again in July for two weeks, which is the best two weeks of my year, and then off to the Hamptons for our summer issue party with Laura, followed by an amazing week in Maui to do a photo shoot for our fall issue with the amazing celeb photographer John Russo. (This will be my first time to Hawaii, so I am super excited!)
Life is a journey – an amazingly colorful one – and I am excited to enjoy every second of it!
