In my opinion, fall is hands-down the very best fashion season. As the weather cools, leaves change color, and we crave delicious comfort foods, we begin to embrace deeper, richer hues and beautiful fabrics and jewelry. It’s also a great time to lean into warmer cosmetic tones.
Keeping in mind the concept of The Philanthropic Lifestyle, I am happy to give you a glimpse of some very fashionable ways to enjoy the fall months by using products and fashion that give back to the greater good.
Apple-picking is a quintessential autumn pastime in the northeast. Here I am at Wilkens’ Fruit and Fir Farm in Westchester, NY, wearing a Slub Dolman blouse by Monroe and Main, one of the family of Colony Brands, which gives back to its community each year through the Colony Brands Foundation. What did I do with all of those apples? I baked them into pies and crisps and shared with others in the community. MonroeandMain.com
