Looking for a barely there look that takes you from day to night? Need a frame that goes with (almost) any style? Clear glasses come in all shapes and sizes (for both men and women) and are the perfect barely-there look to take your classiness up a notch in no time at all.
Love a sporty touch to your frames while still maintaining an upscale look? The racer frame is exactly what you need in 2023. The racer styles are filled with angular, futuristic touches, and modular styles and lightweight, sustainable materials. The lenses on these frames can be iridescent, mirrored and tinted, so you have a plethora of options to choose from.
The Oversized Angular
“Oversized frames have been a style fixture for decades and this is a popular high-fashion staple look that we will continue to embrace throughout 2023, especially in the tortoise shell and metal colorway. Round shapes have evolved into geometric shapes, and now we can see even more oversized retro shapes emerging in the eyewear category. This oversized angular look is a very trendy key item for this season, which brings out the balance to this maximalist look. This is the perfect glasses style for a dramatic eyewear look, which we expect to see a lot this year.” shares Margalit.
“In 2023, we will see that the responsible fashion movement will continue to grow, when it comes to both sustainability, eco-friendly products, packaging, production processes, and more care for the environment, which includes the eyewear industry. More and more brands sell at least one collection made from sustainable materials and fashion companies truly understand their responsibility when it comes to protecting the environment” Margalit informs us. This is an important shift in the savviness of today’s consumers and the overall theme into how eco-conscious products are much more of a priority for the everyday consumer (and glasses customer.)
Tinted lenses are extremely versatile and come in a range of hues so everyone can find something that works for their individual needs and personal eyewear style. This “New Retro” trend was all the rage at music festivals in 2022 and will continue to be popular in 2023 and become more and more mainstream.
