Not many things can get me to hop on the ferry over to Governors Island, but their newest resident, QC NY, has people coming over in droves. From the team behind QC Terme Spas & Resorts in Italy comes QC NY, the brand’s first property in the United States.
Only a quick few minutes on the ferry from Manhattan will bring you to Governors Island where you can now explore the relaxing day spa while overlooking stunning views of the city. Upon entry into the beautiful brick building, guests will be welcomed by soothing scents, a charming gift shop, and the eager front desk staff, who will happily guide you on your way. The multi-floor spa has an array of relaxation rooms, themed saunas, steam rooms, and other wellness experiences for you to explore at your leisure.

Day passes begin at $88 and provide full access to all of the amenities on property. Guests also have the option of booking massages for an additional charge on property or when you book. Storage lockers are provided to all guests, along with robes, sandals, and towels. The locker rooms come equipped with Dyson hairdryers and have ample space for showering post-spa day.
One of our favorite things about QC NY is the array of rooms available for you to peruse – each uniquely tailored to different moods and vibes. Take the Scottish Room, for example. Here, you will be immersed in a steam bath with soothing balsamic aromas and walls covered in traditional Scottish tartan patterns. Or bring a book and curl up in a rocking chair in the FirePlace Room, which, as you might guess, has a roaring fire and a library-like feel. Want some additional wellness benefits with your stay? Head to the plush Infrared Beds which can be found inside one of the dimly lit relaxation rooms. With so many different rooms to experience, a visit to the spa can easily last an entire day, should you have the time. You certainly won’t be in a hurry to leave.
If you find yourself getting hungry, the spa has free coffee and tea, as well as light nibbles, but if you want something more substantial, there’s a full café offering sandwiches, salads, refreshments and more (but keeping with classic New York price gouging, it’s not cheap).
Once summer hits, QC NY will ramp it up a notch, unveiling even more wellness experiences with their outdoor pools. Once the weather heats up, there might be no better way to spend a day in the city.
QC NY is open every day, 10am-10pm Sunday-Thursday and 10am-11pm Friday and Saturday. Weekday passes start at $88 for a half day and weekend passes start at $100 for a half day, and include round trip ferry tickets.
QCNY is for ages 21 and up. A valid ID will be required upon check-in.
