Haru Gramercy Park Introduces a Haute and Healthy Spring Menu

Haru began as a small restaurant on the Upper West Side, but has bloomed into six prominent locations throughout Manhattan and Boston. Recently, BELLA had an opportunity to taste the newly launched Spring menu at Haru Gramercy Park in New York- with muscle building and health conscious ingredients.  Executive Chef Steven Ferdinand presented a five course seasonal offering with cocktails, designed with muscle building ingredients for the health conscious.

Haru Gramercy Park Spring Menu - Cockles

Haru Gramercy Park showcases two floors of stylish dining with expansive windows and waterfall. All of which can be enjoyed in banquet seating or at one of two bars. Sitting in the upper private dining area, we were able to enjoy a great meal with complete view of the restaurant. Our favorite dishes of the evening were the Cockles and the Oscar Roll. The cockles were a light starter with saltwater clams in spring garlic dashi broth. And the Oscar Roll had asparagus and snow crab adorned with tender beef tataki drizzled in lemon dressing.

The cocktail of the evening was definitely the Black Sapphire- made with Bombay Sapphire gin, Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur shaken with crushed blackberries and yuzu. Garnished with two pierced blackberries that created a picture perfect cocktail, this drink reminded us of why we love the Spring weather!
