World-class artist Claire Luxton missed the beauty of the natural world and global travel during the pandemic and used that as inspiration with her new partnership with InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. The global campaign brings the artist’s colorful and vibrant aesthetic inside the walls of their hotels in New York, London and Dubai for a limited time.
BELLA had the opportunity to get a sneak peek at the Claire Luxton Suite inside InterContinental New York Barclay, which is available to stay in through July 15, 2022. The immersive suite aims to stimulate all fives senses with curated 3D art installations, floral displays, and multi-sensory experiences.
Step inside and you will instantly catch a whiff of a custom in-room aroma highlighting scents inspired by destinations around the world. Beautiful floral installations and art displays adorn all the rooms in the suite, bringing nature and peace straight to guests. Inside you will find a complimentary welcome mini bar highlighting drinks and snacks curated by Luxton, which are inspired by her travels. Unique uplighting sets the mood, along with a bespoke Spotify playlist that features the tunes that Luxton listened to in the studio while working on the partnership. Guests will also receive two complimentary limited-edition Claire Luxton-inspired craft cocktails or mocktails, as well as a complimentary drawn-bath service featuring flower petals, premium champagne, luxury fragrances by Byredo and a relaxing soundscape. Last but not least, hotel guests (or non-guests) can utilize an exclusive Instagram filter created by Luxton, showcasing elements of her artwork.
The Claire Luxton Suite is available to book from now until July 15, 2022; members of the new IHG One Rewards Program will earn 7,500 bonus points for booking.
