New Eatery Serves Updated American Classics in a Modern, Elegant Atmosphere
BV’s Grill, located in the bustling heart of Midtown Manhattan, opened this month, setting the new standard for the classic American Grill. Combining warm hospitality in a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, BV’s Grill is a convivial eatery where patrons can keep coming back to enjoy impeccable service, delicious food and an extensive list of cocktails, wine and craft beers.
At the helm of the sleek, 140-seat eatery is famed restaurateur Joseph Smith of the Bobby Van’s group and Alan Rosen of Junior’s Cheesecake. Overseen by Executive Chef Eddie Gozdz, the menu includes fresh fish and lobster, 28-day dry-aged steaks, rotisserie chicken and much more delicious food at reasonable prices.
Complete with a 60-seat outdoor promenade on 56th Street, BV’s Grill is also home to a separate Café area with outdoor seating, coffee & cheesecake, and a full takeaway menu available all day.
The spacious dining room pays homage to Old New York, with a state-of-the-art glassed-in open kitchen overlooking the space, and large, sultry banquettes throughout. The space also boasts two private dining and meeting rooms, and a sleek, 100-person 360-degree open bar area.
“This place is unlike any in the city,” says Smith. “We created a neighborhood restaurant with a great outdoor dining area for lunch, dinner and cocktails. Customers have my unyielding guarantee to provide patrons with the finest food and service.”
The All-American wine list is sourced from some of today’s cutting-edge winemakers as well as classic producers, and the beverage program includes local craft beers with ten brews on draft, along with an innovative artisanal cocktail list paying tribute to the restaurant’s New York roots.
BV’s Grill is open daily from 11:30am to 2am, with brunch available on Sunday.
