Talk about two being better than one! Lady M Cake Boutique, known for their insane multi-layered Mille crêpes cakes, has partnered with Baccarat, the French luxury Maison, to roll out the first of its kind — a luxury cake truck that will be traveling from coast to coast. The truck, designed along with 3D artist Kurt Wenner, will start its journey in Northern California come August, and can be tracked throughout the country at their microsite, www.ladym.com/thecaketruck.
The truck will provide top-tier service to those who pre-order cakes during the day, and at nighttime, the truck will play host to an outdoor sining experience beneath stunning Baccarat Chandeliers. Guests can enjoy Lady M’s cakes on breathtaking Baccarat Arabesque Dessert plates (which retail for $260 each), enjoy cold beverages in Everyday Baccarat Tumblers ($470 for a set of 6), and warm drinks in the Baccarat Harcourt Talleyrand Tumblers (which retails for $370 for a set of 2). The height of luxury, this dining experience will up the ante with tables adorned with Baccarat Bon Jour Versailles lamps ($2,400 each), designed by Philippe Starck. Guests can also browse on the custom-made iPads that will have access to Baccarat’s digital catalog of products, information on the brand, and the ability to buy right there, right now.
“Baccarat is thrilled to be partnering with Lady M on this new and innovative collaboration. We are proud of the work we have done together to create this memorable experience for our customers. Our partnership reinforces the Baccarat message of enjoying beautiful things every day. We are excited to share delicious cakes on beautiful Baccarat. Everything tastes better on Baccarat,” says Jim Shreve, President and CEO of Baccarat North America.
The merging of these two brands, who have developed this five year partnership, is an iconic next step in luxury brand collaborations. “This collaboration is the first of its kind, and Lady M Cake Boutique is thrilled and honored to partner with Baccarat. We are excited to expand the concept of the Lady M experience and take our cakes (including a new confection made exclusively for the collaboration), on the road, introducing them to those both new to and familiar with the brand. We look forward to sharing our signature cakes on beautiful crystal, and sharing happiness,” says Ken Romaniszyn, CEO of Lady M Cake Boutique. Make sure to follow along on the journey by following the hashtag #ladymxbaccarat and tracking the truck’s route online. If Lady M’s delicate cakes tastes this good in the height of New York City’s summer heat, we can only imagine how extraordinary they’ll taste on Baccarat’s opulent dishes.
