LaRayia Gaston, Social Impact Leader In The Fight Against Hunger

As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we recognize inspiring Afro/Latina social impact leader, LaRayia Gaston. Gaston is the founder of Lunch On Me, a non-profit organization constructing greater change in the fight against starvation. By redirecting food waste, she is able to provide organic healthy meals to the homeless community on Skid Row and other parts of LA and NY. As the founder of the Los Angeles–based organization Lunch on Me, Gaston champions a mission of love without reason to help feed the city’s enormous homeless population with organic meals. Lunch on Me provides more than fresh food; its volunteers give homeless individuals an even scarcer resource: love.

In her newest book LOVE WITHOUT REASON: The Lost Art of Giving a F*ck she guides us to reconnect with our hearts and make an effortful difference to build a better world around us. Your readers will be touched, moved, and inspired by her mission and heart work. The book will be released on March 16th and can be purchased here!

She was also featured on Good Morning America and profiled in The New York Times.
