Harlem Haberdashery, the award-winning (Time Out New York) bespoke boutique, listed as “One of the best places to shop in Harlem” (Racked.com,) The eight-year old “retail expression” of  5001 FLAVORS located in the heart of Harlem, NY. The nearly 2,000 square foot boutique carries emerging designers/brands, located in the former home of the late civil rights leader Malcolm X, pays homage to Harlem’s rich history and  luminaries.

Harlem Haberdashery was created by legendary custom-fashion design and styling Company 5001 FLAVORS. Think the late Notorious B.I.G. in elaborate leather ensembles, Grammy award-winners Alicia Keys and Jay-Z‘s “Empire State of Mind”, or David Beckham’s “Welcome to the U.S.” Adidas promotion campaign. The family behind these iconic looks created and opened, with much success, a beautiful “retail expression” of their custom-designs and styling; Harlem Haberdashery’s signature collection has been seen on everyone from award-winning restaurateur Marcus Samuelsson, to New York Giants’ Victor Cruz, New York Yankees’ CC Sabathia and others.

With its strong design intelligence background garnered from years of custom designs, 5001 FLAVORS also is a manufacturer of small production runs, samples and tech packages for international, high profile men and women’s designers/brands including Nautica, Sean John, etc. Our full-time tailor staff housed in our Bronx manufacturing facility completes time sensitive projects for local designers for completion of fashion show designs, graded patterns, promotional gifted designs and other finishing details for their collections distributed in the mass market.

In 2018 the family expanded into lifestyle with the launch of their tailored made spirit collection – HH Bespoke Spirits. HH Bespoke Spirits draws inspiration from the rich cultural history and distinctive style of the Harlem Renaissance. The spirit collection launched in November 2018 and received accolades from Black Enterprise, New York Amsterdam News and The New York Times and is currently carried in several retail and hospitality establishments in New York City with goals to expand to California and Massachusetts.

 

Kicking off the year with their first award, HH Bespoke Rum is the recipient of the 2020 Proof Awards presented by Food & Beverage Magazine and the expansion to offer non-alcoholic beverages. HH Bespoke Spirits launches HH Bespoke Beverages & Spirits with a minority stake in the ownership of Marvelous Waters, founded by Kenneth “Marvin” Barnes this January.

Marvelous Water has a pH of 9.5, with its alkaline properties is better for your health than regular water. Alkaline water helps with the digestive system, reduces high blood pressure, increases red blood cells, and promotes a viable immune system. Marvelous Water has no lead, bacteria, chlorine, fluoride, or harmful parasites. Marvelous Water contains potassium and magnesium which is proven to help the body maintain fluid balance and prevent cardiovascular disease. Because of these nutritional properties, Marvelous Water is in a class by itself. Marvelous Water’s bottling is bisphenol A (BPA) free- not made with harmful chemicals.
