New York Palace Hotel and illy Coffee Invites World Cup Fans to Name Coffee Cocktail

You might not be able to name the winner of the World Cup yet, but you can name the new World Cup inspired cocktail soon to be served at New York Palace Hotel. The FIFA World Cup has created a fever stronger than the spiked temperatures of a New York summer, and New York Palace Hotel has been inspired to help fans cool off with a cold brew challenge. What better way than to spike a glass of cold coffee and let fans name it?

The team at New York Palace Hotel’s Pomme Palais, a French pastry shop: has delivered the best coffee cocktail! Pomme Palais’s skilled Baristas created a much needed cold brew, using illy’s single origin Mono Arabica Coffee from Brazil: and illy’s Master Barista, Giorgio Milos, combined their recipe with Cachaca… the most popular sugar cane hard liquor of Brazil. How sweet is that?

New York Palace Hotel has renovated itself into a modern luxury stay in the middle of New York: and is revolutionizing the spirits served during the FIFA World Cup, by sharing the team spirit with its fans. As we enter the FIFA World Cup Quarter Finals this Fourth of July weekend, the Cachaca Cocktail will debut at the New York Palace Hotel’s three bars: Trouble’s Trust, Villard and Tavern on 51.  So what’s the challenge? New York Palace Hotel and illy invite those 21 years of age and older to join the World Cup Fever, and help rename their Cachaca Cocktail.

Now that you have picked your favorite teams to cheer on during the FIFA World Cup, let New York Palace Hotel and illy know what this refreshing spirited cold brew should be named! This is a chance for your own title during the World Cup… in an innovative, revolutionary cup of spiked “illy”!

The cocktail will debut July 7th and one lucky winner will enjoy the glory of this Cachaca Cocktail at all three bars with a one night stay at New York Palace Hotel, located in the center of New York City.
