This Saturday, November 1st. Prince will grace the Saturday Night Live stage! It’s his first performance since 2006, but it will also serve as an especially unique moment in terms of SNL’s musical history.
In a statement via Rolling Stone, we’ve learned that Prince will perform one, uninterrupted “eight-minute long jam session.” Prince’s SNL appearance comes in continued support of his new solo album, ART OFFICIAL AGE, as well as the debut album from his band 3rdEyeGirl, PLECTRUMELECTRUM. The episode will be hosted by comedian Chris Rock.
