“I’m so happy to be in the greatest city in the world with the most passionate country music fans,” says Ford.

As the first live voice on Nash FM back in 2013, Ford is no stranger to the business. One of the most well-known voices on country music radio, she’s been entertaining listeners for years in places like Louisville (her hometown), Denver, New York, Nashville, and now back here in New York City.  “I love that country music fans in New York and New Jersey make an active choice to listen to the genre and often defend that choice with that one-of-kind passion,” she says.Grab top no deposit casino bonus right now. Ford has emerged as one of the top women in country radio. Over the course of her career she’s garnered three CMA awards as a broadcaster and has sat down with some of the biggest names in country music. A strong passion for the genre, coupled with her extensive experience in the business, puts Ford at the forefront to create an exciting and unique venture around country music and the city of New York.

Fans of Ford can expect a real, local perspective of what’s happening not only in the world of country music but everything that’s happening in our area. And of course all while having fun with her listeners.

A people person at heart, the Queen of Broadcasting says one of her “favorite things” is interacting with others. Social media has been a game changer in connecting Ford with her followers and this new local morning show venture will give fans even greater access to Nashville and the stars they love.

In addition to being behind the mic, Ford stepped in front of the camera last November with a cameo appearance in country singer Bill Anderson’s “Waffle House Christmas” video. Appearing alongside the likes of Kid Rock, Gretchen Wilson, and Tanya Tucker, this country music girl at heart is moving full speed ahead.

Tune in weekday mornings from 6a – 10a on 94.7 NASH FM beginning February 4th for “Kelly Ford in the Morning.”
