Women’s Health magazine and FEED, the organization founded by philanthropist and social entrepreneur Lauren Bush Lauren, are partnering to host its 4th annual RUN10 FEED10 event on September 20th.

Thousands of participants will run down the West Side Highway for a timed 10K race knowing that their race is also giving back to the global community. The concept is perfect: run a 10k and feed 10 people. Since the race started 4 years ago, they have raised 3.75 million meals (that go to the nearest NYC metropolitan areas) and this year they want to feed 5 million!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Aside from the unforgettable experience running a 10K for those in need, pre and post race activities will include guided stretches and yoga with a special guest trainer as well as tons of freebies and giveaways.

ABC’s Good Morning America Chief Meteorologist Ginger Zee will be the special guest host and will also be running the race with a special group of mommy’s-to-be.
