Best known for her role as fashionista and cosmopolitan lover in acclaimed hit series Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker has set her sights on a new drink scene. After months of revealing her partnership with New Zealand-Based wine company Invivo & Co, Parker finally announced via Instagram that the first bottle of her “Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc” will hit shelves this September 28.

“X, marks the drop!” Commented the actress on Tuesday. “Proud to reveal and introduce Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc! First samples just arrived in NYC from the famous Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough region in New Zealand. I’ve popped the cork and am now even more excited for its September worldwide launch!” – X SJP
Carefully crafted, with grapes from Marlborough, New Zealand – world renown for its Sauvignon Blanc – the blend from five different states has subtle hues “of grapefruit, honey suckle flower [and] passionfruit.” According to wine connoisseur and Invivo winemaker Rob Cameron, the palate is expansive and leads with a wall of sweet-scented fruits and a soft, but perfectly balanced, citrus zest.
From its blend to its design, everything about “Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc” has been perfectly curated by the Sex and the City actress. Rumor has it, the hand-painted X on the original label, matches a satin show colorway, “Hamilton,” from her shoe collection.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed the collaboration with Rob Cameron and Tim Lightbourne from Invivo,” explains Sarah Jessica Parker. “Every part of the process from our initial conversations discussing wine styles, to the creative process on the brand and label design and of course, the Sauvignon Blanc blending session; it’s all been one exciting step after another. And a thrilling education in the business of winemaking, but more importantly, the love and passion behind Invivo.”
“Invivo X, Sarah Jessica Parker Sauvignon Blanc” will have a suggested retail price between $18 – $20 and will be immediately available across the U.S. via exclusive national importer Taub Family Selections. At the same time, the wine will also have a global footprint in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Canada, UK, Ireland and Hong Kong.
