The company was created in 2012 by Ori Mor who organized his first tour via social media. Today, the company has expanded and created a variety of tours for guests. Take Me Out expands on the idea of the traditional tour. Tours include a chartered limo with personal driver for a set number of hours with onboard bartenders to get the fun started early. ‘There was a need for a local guide service to show tourists and locals more of NYC’s secret and exclusive nightlife locations,’ stated Mor. Each public tour has a capacity of 8 guests making each experience an intimate one. For private tours the limousine can hold up to 16 while the party buses can include up to 25-42 party patrons. Each tour has a bit of mystery to it in the fact that patrons do not know which venues they are being escorted to until the evening of!
The new programming is being integrated into the current catalog of popular sold out tours like the Mixology, Prohibition, Girls Night Out, Party Bus, Nightclub, and the option of a private tour. Adding to their successful roster this year will be two additional tours: Singles and Rooftop. With the warm weather finally rolling in, Take Me Out announces a rooftop tour. Having a few cocktails with friends is fun, but when the scenery is spectacular, it is priceless. A breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline, trendy settings and luscious libations are only some of the perks you’ll find while you’re on top of the world at venues like Skylark, and Bar Hugo.
Single in the City? Try the new ‘Singles in the City’ tour, which will bring guests to intimate establishments like The Campbell Apartment, Dear Irving, and Blind Barber to grab a libation with a handful of other eligible bachelor and bachelorettes. Who knows – you may walk away with a new crush.
Drink Connoisseur? You will want to try the Mixology Tour, as aboard your ride is a trained mixologist who can provide a background on the beverages you are consuming along the way. Arrive at bars such as Monarch Rooftop, Dear Irving, and Stone Rose Lounge.
History Buff? Transport back to the 1920’s with the Prohibition Tour – the guide can chat about the brief history of the era and unlock the doors of the most exclusive and hidden speakeasies of New York City such as Back Room, Experimental Cocktail Club (ECC), and Bathtub Gin.
