Formerly designing strictly for men, CFDA nominee and Vogue Fashion Fund finalist Thaddeus O’Neil is branching out this year as he brings his beachy, laid back looks to womenswear.

O’Neil’s new line packs quite the punch – showcasing bold patterns, nautical stripes, stylish joggers and flirty dresses. His Long Island surfing background shines through in the collection’s mixture of playful colors, beautiful patterns and casual yet sexy silhouettes. “There’s nothing sexier than a woman who is comfortable being comfortable,” O’Neil said at fashion week, “That’s what this collection is about.”
During our conversation, O’Neil revealed that his inspiration came straight from demand: he learned that many women were regularly buying his menswear pieces for themselves. That’s when he decided it was time to take a stab at womenswear. “I took everything I used in my menswear line and rearticulated those pieces to a woman’s style and sensibility,” said O’Neil.
Regardless, whether you’re shopping for your spring trip to paradise or gearing up for the change in seasons, O’Neil’s new line is full of must-haves for 2016.
