Leena Jain is the Chief Marketing Officer of Humanscale, the leading designer, and manufacturer of ergonomic products that improve the health and comfort of work life. Leveraging her extensive experience in marketing, Leena brings an innovative spirit and unique approach to consumer engagement to her role at Humanscale. As CMO, she manages the company’s brand identity and product launches on a global scale. Most recently, she’s led the expansion of Humanscale’s e-commerce platform to support the widespread need for work-from-home product solutions and offerings.
Leena is driven by her passion for products and brands that bring joy to consumers. Prior to Humanscale, Leena spent 12 years in the beauty industry at L’Oreal and worked on a variety of brands, including Ralph Lauren Fragrances, Pureology, and essie nail polish. During her tenure at L’Oreal, she led the launch of many products across fragrance, hair care, and cosmetics, rebuilt Pureology’s brand positioning, and explored virtual try-on technology for a cosmetic line. Leena’s experience also includes two years as Senior Analyst within the Corporate Strategy & Finance division of a large restaurant corporation. She began her career at Bain & Company.
Leena holds a B.A. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She served as a four-time member of the Executive Committee for the October Ball fundraiser, which benefits the Boys & Girls Club of NYC.
Jane Abernethy, LEED AP
Humanscale’s Chief Sustainability Officer, Jane Abernethy, develops the strategic vision for sustainability at Humanscale, a company working toward the ambitious goal of having a Net Positive impact through design and manufacturing.
Jane works to implement this vision by guiding the R&D effort to create the most sustainable products possible; and by working with the manufacturing facilities to instill sustainability as a fundamental way of operating. She draws on the design thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and knowledge of manufacturing from a decade of experience as an Industrial Designer. Under her leadership, Humanscale has been recognized as the first manufacturer to achieve the complete Living Product Challenge and is a founding member of the Net Positive Project.
Jane often shares dialogue around sustainable product design and manufacturing at a variety of conferences and events globally, including Greenbuild, World Ocean Conference, and more. She recently applied her expertise as a curator for RECKONstruct, the US Pavilion at the XXII Triennale de Milano International Exhibition: Broken Nature: Design Takes on Human Survival. Jane’s work has also been recognized internationally, including the prestigious Red Dot award and the GB&D Women in Sustainability Leadership Award. Under her leadership, Humanscale has been recognized as the first manufacturer to achieve the complete Living Product Challenge and is a founding member of the Next Wave Initiative.
Nancy Pedrick is President of North American Sales at Humanscale. In this role, Nancy will be leading both North America Commercial and all Global Sales.
Nancy joined Humanscale over 17 years ago as an Area Director, and as she’s been promoted through the years, has excelled in each new role. She brings a high level of skill in cultivating both end-user and dealer relationships and has also done an excellent job of developing and advancing her team members’ careers.
