The Knappogue Club Pops Up for the Month of March

Aptly located on European-esque Stone Street, Irish Whiskey brand Knappogue has opened up temporary shop within Underdog through the month of March. Christened as “The Knappogue Club,”  the lower level of the establishment will welcome revelers ready to capitalize on the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day all month long.

The pop-up is made to feel like a private club, adorned with maps of Ireland, portraits of Knappogue Castle’s prominent figures, and banners all around. Open to the public, guests can adorn a velvet Knappogue Club jacket and pose for a photo opp before checking out all that the bar has to offer. Which is obviously, what we came for.

The cocktail menu, which features a great array of cocktails, created by both Knappogue and bartender extraordinaire Joaquín Simó, includes drinks like the OTT (Over the Top) Irish Whiskey, the Emerald Old Fashioned (their riff on the classic cocktail) and Van Diemens’ Land, which combines Knappogue 12 Year with fresh pressed Granny Smith apples. To complement it, Irish dishes will comprise the food menu, with offerings like the mouthwatering Irish bacon and cabbage sliders with quail egg, prosciutto-wrapped sausage rolls with truffle mustard, and whiskey and stout bread pudding, to name a few.

The festive club is open until March 31st, and if you like whiskey and a good time as much as we do, it’s worth paying a visit.
