29-year-old Aisha Rawji is a young entrepreneur, as well as the Founder and CEO of KYNAH. This online shop is a great destination for United States customers to discover authentic Indian designs in the bridal industry such as saris, kaftans, lehengas and more! With a degree in Business Administration and courses from The New School under her belt along with inspiration from her mother, Aisha launched KYNAH in 2017.

Her mission works to reimagine traditional South Asian shopping into a more modern and unique circumstance and aims to create an easily accessible and personal experience for women in the US. With a range of ensembles for all of the special events surrounding weddings, this brand loves to spark the inner confidence of each and every bride! 

KYNAH has become a household name and has grown 800% in year-on-year growth rates since 2017 and has developed a waitlist for both virtual and in-person appointments and fittings that people are dying to get their name on! Celebrities such as Meena Harris, Anita Kalathara, and Sophia Ali are all noteworthy fans of this brand as it has become a staple destination for stylists and consumers.

After the tremendous success of her pop up stores in New York and Los Angeles last year, Aisha plans to open a permanent location in Santa Monica next month! As she works on this endeavor, Aisha continues to develop and promote Kiska Studios, KYNAH’s newly founded sister brand that features weekly lines from Indian designers. In addition, she has also partnered with the nonprofit Saheli Women and is dedicated to empowering women in India by carrying their sustainable and affordable collections on KYNAH’s website!
