In a world first, Raffles at Galaxy Macau will turn its guestrooms into a multi-usage canvas with Samsung The Frame Hospitality in every room, creating customized experiences and a personalized ambiance. Guests may unwind in a secretive twist on the Raffles’ hallmark Long Bar with a new iconic Sling tailored for Macau, or escape to The Glass House for breakfast or an elegant snack to enjoy the outdoors, in an indoor environment.
ITC Hotel Colombo, Sri Lanka, India, Quarter Three, 2022
ITC Hotels, one of India’s largest hotel brands, will open their newest property ITC Hotel Colombo. Located in the center of the capital city of Sri Lanka, boasting panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and the Beira Lake, this luxury hotel will feature 29 floors of 371 gracefully appointed guest rooms and suites, a selection of ten restaurants and bars offering the finest cuisines and a tranquil spa designed by Kuala Lumpur-based firm DESIGNWILKES.
The Homestead is a 12-suite eco-conscious ultra-luxury lodge located on the Nambiti Reserve in South Africa, which is regarded as one of South Africa’s most ambitious conservation initiatives and one of the few reserves where the majesty of the Big 5 (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) and over 50 species of wildlife can be experienced. The Homestead will redefine the eco-luxury lodge through its innovative architecture that seamlessly blends into its wildlife surroundings and combines new buildings with original 19th century structures, state-of-the-art sustainability integration and customized service.

Overlooking the deep blue Aegean and located on its own private beach, Cali Mykonos will house 40 luxury villas. The island’s infamous winds are warded off by the property’s smart positioning, nestled between two mountains. Situated on Japan’s internationally famous art island, Naoshima, Roka will be one of Japan’s most anticipated 2022 hotel openings. At Roka modern art meets Japanese Spirit and this intimate boutique inn houses only 11 rooms with the majority having in-room open air baths, a rarity in Japan. The entire hotel also serves as an exhibition for young, contemporary Japanese artists as their artwork will be displayed in guest rooms, the restaurant and everywhere in between. Roka will open just in time for the Setouchi Art Triennale which is planning on featuring 150 new artists. Guests will receive front-row seats to Japan’s most up-and-coming artists and also some of Japan’s design legends.
