Hottest Hair Trends for Spring & Summer from Vanessa Fernandez, Butterfly Studio Salon

The Feminine Fly Away Braid – This casual, chic look will make a statement with any outfit this spring. Start with natural or next-day hair and divide into 3 equal sections. Add some texture with a touch of dry shampoo and begin to braid tightly. After securing with a hair tie, loosen up while gently pulling out soft pieces from the front and sides, framing your face to complete a messy look.

Undone Waves – Transform long lengths into laid-back waves with this fuss-free, textured technique. Long lusty lengths can be created by twisting hair sections in 2 pieces – creating a rope-like look as you are blow drying. Let it cool and shake out. The more randomly placed, the better!

Slicked Back Hair – Don’t worry about frizz or touch ups with this half-done style, which will draw attention to your beautiful facial features! This red-carpet fave is a great way let your lengths flow, and a go-to for something different on short hair. Use a small amount of light gel in your blow dry and push hair back with hand, directing your style. Spray in some Oribe Light Reflecting Spray for massive shine to finish.
