Each season of New York Fashion Week brings out some of today’s trendiest content creators. This season was no different, as influencers and bloggers filled runway shows, presentations, and parties to get a peak and celebrate the Spring/Summer 2020 collection of designers and brands. As an industry that continues to evolve and shed light on the importance of diversity, this season we caught up with woman who are creating a change in their communities through their platforms. Not only are they some of the most fashionable people on social media, but they also wear different hats transitioning from influencers to contributing writers, creative directors, marketers, and some even juggling motherhood. Fashion week is a time for fashionistas to strut freely in the Big Apple, and these Girl Bosses did not miss a step!

@AndreinaValderrama

“Fashion Week is the perfect time to see all the upcoming trends first hand and get inspired by the infinity street style of people expressing themselves through fashion. My favorite part of the season is to learn about all the new trends that are coming in the fashion industry and have the opportunity to plan ahead how you are going to add or exclude them from your style. This period is also great to connect with people that have the same interests and values as you and to join forces to keep creating great things in the industry.”

“For me NYFW is more than fashion, it’s a holiday! You meet new friends, reunite with virtual friends. You feast your eyes on the creativity that goes behind putting together the fabulous runway shows, from hair to shoes, the looks are a vision! And can we talk about  streetstyle? Everyone walks NYC streets with pride and excitement because it’s our runway in our own right!”

“My absolute favorite part of this season and every season is reuniting with everyone in the business! It’s those 2 times every year where you get to reunite with all of your fellow blogger friends, photographers, NYFW employees and designers, while at the same time meeting so many new amazing talented people.”

“My favorite part of NYFW is to see the upcoming trends up-close and personal — and, in my opinion, there really is no substitute for that. And not just the fashion trends but beauty trends as well! Which is something I become more and more interested in every season. I also develop long standing relationships with some of these designers over the year so I just love getting a chance to support them and preview what they are up to next.”

I love all the amazing brands, photographers, editors and everyone that is on this mission to make the industry more inclusive with me!”
