There was magic in the air at Nemas Boom Boom Room, on Monday night October 8th in NYC. The room was filled with elite executives from some of the top record labels such as Atlantic Records, Def Jam, Lava Records, Republic Records, Universal Music Group and many more. They all attended the show to get a sneak peek at Nemas incredible lineup. Also in attendance were surprise celebrity guest such as Anthony Anderson (ABC, Black-ish), Ty Hunter (Stylist, Beyonce), Jeff Robinson (MBK Entertainment) and Grafh (VH1, Love & Hip Hop New York) who were all excited to experience NYC’s best music showcase.

Nema Kamar personally hand picked 3 amazing acts for her monthly show and the fans weren’t disappointed. First to hit the stage was Atlantic Records ownRaiche. A stunning beauty with a sultry voice that cast a spell on the crowd with a unique sound of her own. Raiche has been compared to legends such asSade, Billie Holiday & Lauryn Hill. She is definitely someone to keep your eye on. Her star is on the rise. Up next was the phenomenal Porter Shields. His powerful vocals and smooth falsetto made all of the ladies fall in love. He mesmerized the crowd with brilliant harmonies, amazing lyrics and a stage presence of a seasoned veteran.

Last but definitely not least was the headliners The Janes. 4 Angelic beauties who shut it down as soon as they hit the stage.  Singing beautifully in their signature harmonies while showcasing their sexy dance moves. The crowd jumped to their feet as they sang their fan favorite “How Do I Live” and their newest single “Slow It Down”. Their longtime Manager Donnie Klang and former Pop star from MTV’s hit show Making The Band said “Since I left Making the band their hasn’t been much real artist development. Thats why our team made sure we downloaded all of the experience and knowledge I learned from Diddy to The Janes”. I think we can all agree that the young ladies have learned well.

Nema Kamar continues to elevate the game and provide opportunities for artist to thrive. Everyone left the venue Slate Event Space with a smile on their face and the only question dancing through the air was “When is the next show”. Stay tuned my friends. There is definitely more to come.
