Very Viscountess: Jewelry Inspired by Netflix’s Bridgerton

If you are like me, you have already binged Season 2 of Bridgerton. Spoiler alert, if you have not. While the storyline of Season 2 concentrates on the eldest of the family, Anthony Bridergton, and his quest for finding a bride; my focus was on the debut of the fashionable Sharma sisters.

From the rich jewel tones of costume designer Sophie Canale’s creations to the fine jewelry used to accent the dainty necks of the most refined and proper characters. It was hard to take your eyes off the season’s new diamond, Edwina Sharma and her equally glowing sister, Kate.  Here is a collection of delicate necklaces suited for a game of Pall-mall or your next role as Viscountess.

Brilliant Earth

It only makes sense for the season’s diamond to wear diamonds. This Brilliant Earth Ivy Diamond Pendant necklace is part of the new Wildflower collection.  A nod to the countryside and a visit to the estate at Aubrey Hall perhaps? Shown here in 18K Yellow Gold, the necklace is also available in 18K White Gold with a total 1/6 carat weight. The nature-inspired ivy pendant is a subtle way to add shine to any outfit.

BYCHARI

Amazed how easily Kate Sharma played Pall-mall and went hunting wearing fine jewelry? I am too. This BYCHARI Diamond Tennis Necklace is available in two lengths, the 16” has 172 diamonds and approximately 5.11 total carat weight and the 18” has 194 diamonds, approximately 5.82 total carat weight. It’s simple, classic and timeless. Resting beautifully on the collarbone, it is an heirloom piece for years to come.

Logan Hollowell

Imagine your grand entrance to the most coveted invite of the season, Lady Bridgerton’s annual Hearts and Flowers Ball wearing this Logan Hollowell Diamond Luxe Choker with Pink Sapphire Heart Center. The choker is made from 14k gold and 4.27 carat white diamonds featuring a 2 carat Pink Sapphire heart center. Since Pink Sapphires are known to clear emotional blockages and help open the mind to beauty and intuition.  It’s the perfect addition to help catch the eye of a potential suitor.

Jenny Bird

Are three chains really too much for the Regency era?  Perhaps. But we cannot forget the scandal that was the “17 ruby stone” necklace worn by Cressida Cowper, when it was smashed into pieces by Colin Bridgerton in the season finale. This 2-in-1 Jenny Bird Essential Stack in two-tone features a mixing of silver and gold. The Priya Snake herringbone chain in silver, is layered with the Surfside Duo Chain in high-polish 14k gold creating a necklace 17-19” in length. Curated to perfection, this will be your go-to piece to wear and the talk of the town

Adornmonde

While Lady Violet Bridgerton prefers a string of pearls, her daughter, Duchess Daphne Bassett can be seen sporting a single pearl pendant like this Adornmonde Johnstone Pearl Necklace.  Available in both 14k white and 14k solid gold, the fine chain is adorned with a freshwater pearl. Looking for a set? The matching bracelet and anklet are also available. Pearls are perfect for the busy thralls of motherhood and event planning alike; some would suggest they are one in the same.

Monica Vinader

Even Lady Whistledown would be hard pressed to say anything negative about the Monica Vinader Doina Heirloom Necklace. Like the entire collection, the handmade piece is made from recycled gold and silver. In honor of their sustainability pledge, Monica Vinader was awarded Ethical Jewelry Business of the Year at the UK Jewelry Awards in 2021.  The Doina Heirloom Necklace is available in 18k Gold Plated Vermeil and adjustable from 14-18” in length. A vintage style necklace is both conscious and functional, appealing for the most discerning of tastes.
